Ingredients

  • 1 French bread loaf
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Tuscan Evening (Tangy Herb) seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • A few handfuls of chopped grilled chicken
  • 9 oz. romaine lettuce, chopped
  • Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade for the adventurous)
  • Grated Parmesan, for topping

Instructions

  1. Prep the oven & bread: Preheat your oven to 425°F. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise, keeping one long edge intact so it opens like a giant pizza book. Place cut side up on a sheet pan.

  2. Garlic oil magic: Brush the bread’s innards with olive oil, then sprinkle the garlic evenly over the top.

  3. Sauce it up: Stir the Tuscan Evening seasoning into the tomato sauce, then spread it over the garlic bread. Top generously with shredded mozzarella.

  4. Chicken time: Scatter the chopped grilled chicken over the cheesy layer. Bake until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden brown—start checking at 10 minutes.

  5. Salad prep: While the pizza bakes, toss the romaine in Caesar dressing to taste.

  6. Assemble & devour: Cut the baked pizza into 4 large pieces. Pile the dressed salad on top, sprinkle with Parmesan, fold over like a hearty sandwich, smash slightly, and enjoy every tangy, cheesy bite.

Salad on pizza isn’t just allowed—it’s life-changing. Caesar Salad French Bread Pizza is perfect for weeknight dinners, casual impressing, or satisfying your inner foodie rebel.

Pro Tip

Want extra crunch? Toast the bread for a few minutes before adding toppings.

Feeling frisky? Whip up a quick homemade Caesar dressing with anchovy paste, garlic, lemon, and olive oil.

Make it veggie-friendly by swapping chicken for roasted mushrooms or zucchini.
