Instructions

You ever bite into something and think, “Damn, I didn’t know broccoli could do that”? Yeah, same. This isn’t your sad desk stir-fry. This is broccoli after it’s joined a wasabi-fueled biker gang led by a fire-breathing dragon.

This stir-fry hits all the right notes: garlicky, savory, nutty, spicy, and just a little unhinged. Dragons Twilight—our boldest seasoning yet—brings orange, ginger, and wasabi heat that doesn’t ask for permission. It's vegan as written, but feel free to toss in steak, chicken, or tofu if you're feeling extra. Great for weeknights when you want flavor with attitude.

🧂 Ingredients (Feeds 4)

  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets

  • 4 cups farfalle pasta, uncooked

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil (plus more if needed)

  • Dragons Twilight (start light, build heat like a fireball)

For the Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp coconut aminos or low-sodium soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Optional Add-ins & Toppings:

  • Cooked chicken, steak, or crispy tofu

  • Sliced green onions

  • Sesame seeds

🔥 Directions

1. Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook farfalle until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Blanch the broccoli (optional but fancy)
Toss florets into boiling water for 2 minutes, then shock them in ice water to lock in color and crunch. Skip this if you like your broccoli with a bite.

3. Shake up the sauce
Add all sauce ingredients to a mason jar. Shake like you're angry at it. (Or whisk in a bowl if you're old school.)

4. Get things sizzling
Heat 2 tbsp sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant and barely golden.

5. Broccoli time
Toss in broccoli and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes. Pour in ½ cup of the sauce and let it bubble and thicken for about 4 minutes. If things get sticky, a splash of water will loosen it up.

6. Bring the heat
Sprinkle a generous amount of Dragons Twilight over the skillet. Want just a flicker of heat? Start small. Want a 5-alarm flavor bomb? Go wild.

7. Pasta party
Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Let it all warm through, soaking up that bold sauce.

8. Garnish & devour
Top with extra Dragons Twilight, green onions, sesame seeds, and your protein of choice. Serve hot and get ready to breathe fire—in a good way.
