Here is a delicious recipe for a Garlic Broccoli Stir-Fry that features our hottest seasoning, Dragons Twilight! This easy recipe is considered vegan, but if you're a protein lover, it'd be a great pairing with chicken or steak. (If you want to keep it vegan, you can always add some tofu.)
Ingredients
3 cups fresh broccoli florets
4 cups farfalle pasta, uncooked
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons sesame oil
Dragons Twilight
For the sauce
1/3 cup + 2 tablespoons coconut amino (or low-sodium soy sauce)
1/4 cup sesame oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Optional:
Chicken or steak
Green onions for topping
Sesame seeds for topping
Instructions
1. Cook the pasta al dente, according to package directions.
2. Blanch broccoli for 2 minutes in plenty of boiling water. Soak broccoli in ice-cold water and keep aside in a colander. (You can omit if you like broccoli super crunchy).
3. For the sauce, add all sauce ingredients to a mason jar. Screw on the lid tightly and shake vigorously to combine.
4. When the broccoli is ready, add two tablespoons of sesame oil to a large skillet and heat to medium. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring often until fragrant.
5. Add broccoli florets and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add 1/2 cup of the stir fry sauce to the skillet and cook an additional 4 minutes, stirring often, until broccoli is cooked but still crunchy. Dust with a good layer of Dragons Twilight - if you don't want to make it too hot, more can always be added when plating. (Add a little water if the sauce gets too thick.)
6. Add cooked, drained pasta to the pan with the broccoli and mix well to combine and reheat a little. Serve the garlic broccoli stir-fry immediately, adding a little more sauce and/or Dragons Twilight on top if you like. Enjoy!
