PROVISIONS
1/3 cup raisins
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup molasses
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
Peanut Butter Spiced Apple snack seasoning (for topping)
PREP
1. Combine raisins and 1 tablespoon flour; stir well and set aside.
2. Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add pumpkin, milk, molasses, and eggs, beating well.
3. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and spices; add to creamed mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in raisins.
4. Spoon batter into greased muffin pans, filling full. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool and top with Peanut Butter Spiced Apple snack seasoning.
