Ingredients
1lb skirt steak
1 pack ramen noodles
1 tbs sesame oil
2 tbs garlic
1/2 tsp ginger powder (or 1 tsp fresh minced garlic)
32oz chicken or vegetable broth
3 Oz soy sauce (add more for desired saltiness)
Sriracha to taste
2oz sliced carrots
Green onions for garnishing
Sesame seeds
1 soft boiled egg (cut in half)
Dragons Twilight
Instructions
Cover both sides of the steak with Dragons Twilight. Sear the steak on both sides for about a minute - you’ll want this to be rare to medium rare. Set aside to rest.
Bring a small pot of water to a boil and place in the noodles and continue to boil until soft.
On medium-low heat, add the sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to pan and cook until pungent. Stir in the broth, soy sauce, sriracha and carrots. For extra kick, add some additional Dragons Twilight to the broth. Let the broth simmer until everything is ready to put together.
To soft boil an egg, place the egg in boiling water for 5 minutes and then remove and put in ice water to stop it from cooking further. Peel the egg and cut in half when ready to top the ramen.
Once noodles are finished, strain the water and divide noodles into 2-3 bowls. Add broth, top with green onions, half of soft boiled egg, steak and sesame seeds into each bowl.
Now you’re ready to breathe some fire! Enjoy!
